90 SKI NAUTIQUE-FADED GEL COAT AROUND WHERE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD REMOVED SOME STICKERS...HAVE TRIED VARIOUS CLEANERS AND COMPOUNDS W/ NO REAL SUCCESS, ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT.......THANKS

If you really want the shine to come back out. Remove all the stickers and wetsand the entire boat! Then lots of polishing and wax. Probably a 2 day job and it will look like new! Make sure you count your sanding strokes so its even across the whole boat. As for polishing buy a good polisher such as a milwaukee or an air polisher. -

I have a '91 SN that was pretty faded. Last summer we took all the stickers off and used a 3M medium cut rubbing compound that was gel-coat safe. Rub a little of that stuff on and get out the old power buffer. Looks like a brand new boat now.Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward.
