So, I bought a used 2010 SAN with a Ramlin 214 trailer under it. As seen in the pictures, the AFT of the trailer bunk is angled causing the AFT of the boat to sit on the outer corner of the bunk. As you move towards the front of the boat the angle gets closer to the angle of the boat and about midship the bunks are flush with the boat. I doubt that this is the way the trailer is designed to fit the boat.
The brackets holding the mounts for the bunks are welded to the frame, so there are no adjustments. The majority of the weight is distributed on part of the bunks that are flush with the hull, I dont feel confortable seeing the gap (angle) on the last two bunk brackets.
Do you guys see a major issue with this? Is this the correct trailer for the year/model boat? Should I correct this ASAP?
Thanks for the help
