SAN 210 not sitting on Ramlin trailer correctly?

So, I bought a used 2010 SAN with a Ramlin 214 trailer under it. As seen in the pictures, the AFT of the trailer bunk is angled causing the AFT of the boat to sit on the outer corner of the bunk. As you move towards the front of the boat the angle gets closer to the angle of the boat and about midship the bunks are flush with the boat. I doubt that this is the way the trailer is designed to fit the boat.

The brackets holding the mounts for the bunks are welded to the frame, so there are no adjustments. The majority of the weight is distributed on part of the bunks that are flush with the hull, I dont feel confortable seeing the gap (angle) on the last two bunk brackets.

Do you guys see a major issue with this? Is this the correct trailer for the year/model boat? Should I correct this ASAP?

    Thanks for the help

I don't think that's the right trailer for that boat. Pic from the side?

No way is that the right trailer. That 4400 lbs load limit seems way low also. That boat is 3800 dry.

I figured as much... It is very difficult to find out any information on this model. What was the common model number for 2010 SAN 210?

Call ramlin with that info. they should be able to tell you. If you end up needing a different trailer - I might be interested to see if that would fit am excel. It looks like those axles are too far ahead for a V-drive. Pic from the side might help.

Hmm, Axle's look in the right spot... But those bunks are def angled for a different hull. Nice boat btw

Looks that the trailer is a year older than the boat, so maybe ok.... on hold right now with Ramlin... they are running VIN to see compatibility

Thanks Shaq.... it has been a nightmare of a purchase though... people just dont do the right thing or dont do what they promise, until you get ugly with them....really sucks

Have not been able to even launch the boat yet, purchased it Feb 4

Looks like something broke on the trailer bunk supports, are both sides sitting the same? Did you get the tower issue resolved? feeling sorry for all the grief you have taken in this purchase! If no resolve, a good shop can lift the boat slightly, raise the bunks to the bottom with a jack, and weld in the proper bunk supports to make it sit right. It shouldn't take much to fix, just have to find a competent welder and paint. Good luck! Maybe Ramlin will step up like the tower manuf. did.

I'm really feelin' for ya Max, you did the right thing and got a pre purchase inspection, yet they miss cracks in the tower and the fact the boat doesn't fit on the trailer correctly! Did they even bother looking at the boat or just fill out some forms and take your money? I really hope it's all smooth sailing once it does hit the water!

Guys, the bunk brackets are not broken and the inconsistancies are equal on both sides. We contact Ramlin and they stated that this NOT the correct trailer for the 210 rather it is made for the 220. The tech form Ramlin was quite upset that this was sold like this and the dealer has no answers. The Ramlin tech said that the trailer will ride ok, but launching will be a bit dangerous coming on and off the trailer. I hionestly dont know what to think at this point.....

That looks like a nice trailer. I would contact buxtons up in dallas and see if you could make some sort of trade. Yeah you will probably have to pay some but thats just part of it.

Hate to say this, and i know you were overseas, but this just shows if you want something done right, do it yourself.
