http://www.globecomposite.com/pages/...ducts_Impeller Not sure which one is right one. https://www.gcsmarine.com/content/im...in_an_impeller

What about this one? Will it work with ballast puppy? http://www.wakemakers.com/johnson-ul...-impeller.html

Thank's for the info, I already bought one. I was wondering if anyone was already using them and if they would last longer than one year. That's how long the standard impellers last in my boat.

Also interested. I have the green ones, and never had too many issues with my piggy back system. Worth the upgrade to orange or blue?

Google says the #025 is the correct impeller for the jabsco/johnson pumps, and this is from the Globe Marine website:
"Made with Run-Dry II for even longer lasting performance!Comes in Clam Shell packaging.
Available in RED for Diesel Transfer"

Sounds like there is no need for us to use the red version as there is no reference to longer life. In fact one impeller manufacturer states their nitrile (diesel/oil resistant) version has an expected lifespan 10% less than their regular impeller.

I'm using green at the moment, think i'll try blue next.

edit: "NITRILE offers better resistance to oil and diesel fuel, however performance and life is reduced by about 10%."

Yellow ones wear out rather fast. Blue ones hold up but will let water in while sitting and lose ballast while underway (that was my experience). Green ones work great and last years.

I was just poking around and am seeing the greens have come down in price. When I bought last year they were $33, now $25...http://www.wakemakers.com/jabsco-bal...-impeller.html

I did not know the price was going down.

Thanks all, I should have clarified the impeller is for my fresh water pump for the motor. I'm replacing my Sherwood 10615 impeller with a blue Globe Marine #625. I'd like to get more than one year out of my impeller.

                Thanks again

I installed one on my old PCM in a MB I used to own. Seemed to work great. Installed in the year I bought it and never touched it for the next 3 years. I didn't put too many hours on that boat.
