okay, got my steering cable now how do I put it in?

a few weeks back I chronicled my steering problems. It ended up just being a bad cable that had siezed up for one reason or another. So I got my new one this week and just need to put it in. I understand this is fairly easy to do.

Anyone able to walk me through it? I'm going to tie a rope to one end as I pull it out so it's easier to get back in. But which direction do I pull from front or back? Any tips I need to know?

I pulled the cable starting from under the dash using the rope. I have a 93SN w/the rack and pinion (I think) type steering cable and found it easier to fish it down through. The piece under the dash was to bulky to fish up through the hole under the dash.
