Carpet Coming Loose Around Motorcover

Greeting Nautique owners! I am now one of you. Bought a 97 Nautique a few months ago and am looking forward to skiing next month.

Question: Some of the carpet is sagging/coming loose around the bottom of the motor cover...carpet still is in good condition though. Do you have any ideas on how to fix?

I did a quick search of previous discussions, but didn't find info...so, I thought I'd ask...

Maybe try some 3m spray adhesive or carpet cement made for boats.

Edit - The carpet is attached on the top and bottom, but the middle is starting to sag....

Use the spray adhesive. You are going to have to remove one side, or the other to gain access. I suggest the part on the bottom, under the motor box. Stretch the carpet tight, when you put it back in place.
