Jabsco Ballast Puppy alternative

Does anybody have any good recommendation for an alternative to a Jabsco Ballast Puppy? I need 3 replacements, and don't fancy spending the $400 odd New Zealand $'s for a replacement Jabsco if theres a decent alternative around?

Anyone had any luck with similar reversible pumps?

The Johnson F4B11 is a comparable 12V reversible impeller pump, but its not much cheaper then the Jabsco here in the US.

Are you sure the pumps are dead? I have rarely heard of these pumps failing and it seems odd that all 3 would fail on you. If you haven't already I would check impellers, wiring, fuses/breakers and switches before buying new pumps.

2 of them are OK, 1 of them has corroded to ****! Unfortunately the pumps were removed by the previous owner and left exposed to the elements one winter! Been on the replacement list for a while, but one finally gave up the ghost. I replaced the impellers last year. Thanks for the help.
