source for gas charged seat/hatch "shocks?"

Anyone know of a source for the gas charged "shocks" or props that help hold up the observer seat, rear hatch, glove box, etc.. on the nautiques?

    thanks,

You would think that I own stocks at Overton's, I don't. I happen to go over their catalog a lot as I'm always thinking of projects.

Overton's sells them. They have them under "Attwood Spring Lift Gas Springs". You can search under items 32023, 32022, 32021, 32024 which are lengths at 20/12", 17/10", 15/9.5", and 10/7" (extended length/compressed length). They all run $20.99 per spring.

Brackets are also available under items 33612, 33611, 33613.

The other option is to go through your dealer or buy them from Mid-Ohio. I don't know of other places but your local marine store may also carry them.

NAPA, Autozone etc. they will need the length and the PSI of what you have.

Rex Marine sells the same item CC has for a little le$$. I just replaced mine in the last couple months. For the gull wing seat and engine get the 80lb springs. I bought the 50's the first time around and had to go back. Rex marine is on the web if your not in So. Cal.
