Transmision swap - PCM 40A swap with 80A with 9 degree down angle - Any surprises?

My PCM 40A needs a rebuild, quote for rebuild was almost as much as new 80A model from skidim.
Anyone know of any issues swapping transmissions?
I have 1995 Sport Nautique - direct drive. Only change I see is that my engine will now sit level. - hoping no shaft length changes, etc. Would rather not have any costly, needs this extra piece/shop time, surprises. Thanks for the help !!

TRANSMISSION KIT, PCM 80A 1.23:1
New PCM 80A transmission kit replaces PCM 40A 1.23:1 ratio. Kit includes new damper plate, 12" transmission cooler and lines. Same dimensions as the original PCM 40A with 9 degree downangle output coupler. The 80A fluid pump is not reversible and will only work with a left hand (standard) rotation engine.

Have you talked to the tech people at SkiDIM yet? They are usually pretty good and can probably answer your question. Might also want to try contacting Jody at Florida Inboards. If this swap is possible I bet he has done it already.
