Moving gauges in a 97 ss

I want to move my perfect pass gauge to the middle and move my rpm to the right. Is this something that can be done easily? I havent a clue on how to access them. I would assume undoing all the screws around the outside of the dash and take the whole thing off?

anybody that has insight on this could you shed some light please. Thanks!

It's not bad as long as there is enough wire in the back, which there should be. You will have to pull your steering wheel as well. Just 6 Allen screws.

Remove the main steering wheel nut and wheel will slide right off the spline. Remove dash screws and the dash will become free,,,I just tilt the dash up into the windshield and secure it with a strap to the mirror this will put everything you need to work on right in front of you while sitting in the seat. I did all my gauges and also installed Star Gazer it all went well.

It is tight, but You do not have to remove the steering wheel. Lower the tilt wheel to the lowest position, remove the four dash screws. Raise the dash up, and lay it on the steering wheel while you disconnect all of the wires, and speedo tubes. Label things to identify later. Remove the dash from the boat to work on it (much easier to work with) .

Ok cool. I will try to tackle this tonight. I am anal a bit i guess and want the dash to look symmetrical.

I 2nd the "don't pull your steering wheel!" I just put in a new depth finder and was able to get the dash off as described above.

Yea, it's quick and gets it out of the way
