1994 Ski Nautique accessory buttons not turning off

When I push in the accessory buttons to turn on something like bilge pump, lights etc they go in and stay in. There is no way to turn the accessory off. The blower wouldnt stop last time I used the boat so I had to undo the pos cable from the battery. Any one know what is wrong with the panel buttons?

Welcome to the site. Are you new to the boat or is this a new problem that just started happening? If you are new to the boat then it is probably user error. You push these breakers in to turn make them active and then if you push them in again they will spring back to the original position and turn the accessory off. Sometimes they get bad and are really hard to push in and they don't want to spring back. If that is the case you can get the replacement breakers at Nautiqueparts.com (use code PND to save 10%).

Spraying WD-40 around the button and working the button to get the WD-40 into the breaker can also free up the buttons.

I had good luck pulling my dash and spraying the front and the back of the relay / breakers with silicon lubricant. Work much better now. (likely less greasy than WD40 as well).

If they get sticky you have to press on the button pretty hard sometimes to get them to kick out.

I am new to the boat. It was meticulously maintained, showroom condition. The buttons go in easily but do not spring out when pushed again. All 10 of them are now stuck in the on position.

Don't take this the wrong way but it seems like possible user error. One, two, maybe a few stuck I could see but to have all 10 of them stuck I'm thinking you aren't pushing in far enough and swift enough to get them to click and return back. Try using a clicker ball-point pen without the end sticking out. Use the end of the pen to push in all the way. Sometimes you have to give it a little authority.

^^^+1. No offense, sometimes those guys are pesky to get clicked back out the first time if they haven't been moved in a while but for all 10 to go bad at once I think not.
