    How to clean the motor?

I had some rust on my pulley's that were creating belt dust. That combined with a little left over oil residue and my motor is dirty. I replaced the alternator pulley and had the others powder coated so now I want to clean my motor. Any recommendations on how to do this without making a huge mess in the inside of the boat?

It will leave belt dust either way if they are clean or not (if it is a V belt set up). Brake cleaner and a rag??

FYI, you can remove those pulleys... send them off.... have then sanded and polished smooth, powdercoated..... done right for years to come

Go to your local Harley Dealer and pick up a bottle of S100. Spray it on and hose it off.
