Micro hull cracks.

So I detailed my 2012 210 sante this past weekend and while I was waxing the hull there was this weird "wavy" pattern in one spot. Upon further investigation it was a bunch of small cracks!?!? Then I looked at one of the trailer bunks and there was a hairline crack running from the end of the bunk probably 3 ft towards the bow and what looked like a depression in the hull where it was resting on the bunk.

Also, while I had it on the trailer the bow window wouldn't close. We got it in the water and it closed fine. Does that mean it was compressed while on the trailer?

Should I start freaking out now or wait a couple days?!

I would start now...but the good part is this is likely warranty.

Bad part is u will likely be without a boat for awhile. Sorry to hear that part.

Hairline cracks might not bother me too much. But my bow windows opens and closes on the trailer as good as on the lift (which supports the boat very differently then the trailer), and as good on the water.

Pretty much all boats open and close like a book when on a trailer vs. in the water. On the water, the force on your hull bottom is evenly distributed across the entire surface. On a trailer all the force is pushing on the hull bottom outside of the keel thus trying to close the book. The longitudinal stringers in most sport boats is not tied together because of the fuel tank, ballast tanks and other centerline equipment. In Nautiques and similar to many brands they install reinforcement in the walk-thru to counteract it (you can see it in some of the plant videos). The new G's are the only ones that the stringer grid structurally ties the port and stbd sides together mid ship (battery landing) and in the bow under the walk-thru.
When you install a walk-thru windshield on a boat, you always put in an extra 1/4" or so gap, knowing this area on the boat moves.

I would check the screws holding the windsheild and make sure they are tight. You have to be the origanil owner for the hull warrinty to be any good but if so it is lifetime.

Corey, what trailer is under that? Other possibility the bunks aren't right for the hull. Is the 210 going bye bye?

Actually 2nd owner's can purchase lifetime hull warranty transfer. Which I did. But it sure isn't going to cover hairline cracks.

Boatmate trailer. Says 2012 210 on it. Came with it ... The wheel wells say nautique in the lit cutout.

Not yet. The girlfriend's family bought the new g tho!

I am the original original owner so no issue there. Did you request a loaner or anything? Seems that they would oblige something like that to keep you happy since it is costing you basically a year of use ...

This is my first post so hope I am not asking an ignorant question, but we just purchased a 230, and have the boat in a slip with a lift. We put the boat in the water for the first time last night. Here is my question. The two rails of the lift stop short of the transom. There is about a 3 foot distance between the end of the lift rails and the transom. My question, knowing the bulk of the weight is in the rear, should I be concerned that the rails aren't extending closer to the rear transom?

I thought this thread makes most sense as cracks over time is my concern.

As to mikepol's question I would be concerned and if it were my boat I would fix it ASAP.
Having said that you might want to contact Correct Craft directly on this question.
CC's are well built and they even have lifting rings where you can support the entire vessel from them but bunks are a different story.
