I am doing a preseason oil change before heading to the lake this weekend. While under the boat I noticed cracks in the gel coat alongwhere the boat sits on the trailer. The area that the cracks are in is about2.5 to 3.5 inches wide and about 3 1/2 feet long. Could these be from loadingthe boat on the trailer? The cracks seem to be localized to the area of thefront trailer bunk on the port side. I have a prestige trailer if that helps.Can the boat be run and then fixed as soon as possible.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I will try and get some better pictures this afternoon.
