    OJ Dripless Shaft Seal

    I have 2005 196 with 330 Excallibur where would I get water for dripless shaft seal. know it is on output side of waterpump but where would be the best place to tie in? anyone out there done this on 330 Excallibur Thanks

    I'm currently trying out this product:

    No plumbing. No packing. I chose to get a slightly longer log hose so that the engine vibes wouldn't touch the hull.

      Last fall we put a dripless packing on our 05 club 196 with the excalibur. We tied in at the fitting for the heater supply hose. Boat hasn't been put in yet so I can't say how it will work but it should be fine.
      If you want I could probably post a picture or two tomorrow.

          Check the fitting where it comes out of the engine. You should have a double outlet fitting with one for the heater and the other blocked. We just removed the plug and with one adaptor we were set.
