Surging when cold in Excal 330

Just picked up an '05 SANTE a couple weeks ago. Noticed that when I first start it up and head out, the boat vibrates when I try to accelerate (almost feels like when you have a dinged up prop) and surges until the engine warms up a bit. Usually lasts about a minute or two. Any thoughts?

Crap gas? was it sitting for a while that your can verify? Sometimes fuel system issues/dirt floating will do this when fuel is flowing it runs fine, then when it settles again, symptoms return? Did you run a full tank of fuel through it?
In my experience, electrical issues dont go away when the engine is warm. Those gremlins are no fun either.

I think it may have been some bad gas. I've put 12 hours on it now, and it has done it less and less each time out, and is almost not noticeable now. I will replace the fuel filter soon. Fingers crossed it has worked itself out...
