fish wire from engine to dash on air/sport

Hi,
Does anyone know the easiest route to fish a transponder cable from near the front of the engine to the panel below the throttle? Installing a depth sounder on a '01 Air Nautique.

bonus question: Does the toe kick panel where the fuse block is come out, or is it molded?

I have a Ski which I believe has the same helm as the DD Air. The kick panel is held in place with 4 long screws. If you have Perfect pass there may be a wire for the jump switch already between the engine and dash. I would pull a rope such as starter rope for a lawnmower or wire through with the PP wire then pull what you need from the engine with another string or wire. Then pull the PP wire back. I hope this makes sense. The PP wire will be grey and have 4 colored wires in it. It should be grouped and tied just in front of the engine on the drivers side.

Great, it has an added perfect pass and the speedo is right next to where I'm putting the transponder but I didn't think of that. Thanks a lot, that should make it easy.
