anyone know where to pick up new zerk fittings to grease the bearings on an 03 ramlin trailer? they are the small ones that are barbed on the end, not threaded. they come off in my grease gun and i destroy them getting them out. the local hardware and auto supply houses have plenty of threaded ones that are too big to screw in. the smallest i found was 1/4-28 threaded. i know i could just change the entire cap, but would rather avoid it. any ideas?

well, the ones with the barbs are termed "drive type" fittings ... now to figure out which one it is and order a handful

are possibly these from dexter axle. says they are 1/4-28 too but they look much more tapered

no, what i listed above from dexter turned out to be the wrong thing. surprisingly enough, i wound up finding some at tractor supply. paid about $12 for 20 of them. none of the local automotive or hardware stores had them, including northern tool who typically has stuff like that. here is link to precisely what it is, but this place won't sell them to you unless you buy $100 worth. lots of places online that sell various counts of a similar fitting tho ...
