1997 Ski Nautique 196 Closed Bow.
I'm trying to restore my wiring back to a more factory layout. The boat had had two amps added as well as subs, but the radio was not working. The wiring was scary. I took out the amps and subs for now and am going to go back to a cd player powering the speakers directly. I know how to wire up the speakers, but the power to the cd player is the problem. The previous owner had it powered directly off the battery and I would like to return to powering it off an accessory switch or the ignition. Also the Depth Guage was being powered off the same direct line from the battery so I need to know how that is usually wired. I would prefer to get hold of a wiring diagram so I can understand what he spliced into and what it should look like but anyone who has added a cd player or a depth guage I'm sure could help me out.
