Anyone have advice for how to adjust the sensitivity of surge brakes? These things are so sensitive I can't back up most of the time. Any stop engages them. Backing on even flat ground will make them go on. Most of the time every stop I make even if nursed to a stop engages the brakes enough that I can't set the lever to stop them from going on further and locking up the trailer wheels. Just getting in the driveway is a 3 to 4 step process of getting a rock and pulling forward to set the brake prevention lever. The lever falls off when the trailer tires go up the curb and again when the truck tires hit the curb. It's not a nice smooth curb which sure doesn't help.
