Second Battery Question

So I'm new to the forum, I just purchased a 1999 Air Nautique. I'm looking at adding a second battery. Ideally I would place it under the "gull wing seat". Can anyone answer if I can screw into the floor there to secure the battery?

Yes. Do not go crazy with really long screws, and you are better off with the battery toward the middle of the boat. If you intend to have a ballast bag in ski locker, make sure your screws do not present a puncture risk to your center bag. If they go through into the compartment, cap them with something to create a blunt surface.
