Can dealer plug into motor and tell hours??

Looking at a 2006, 211 that owner says hour meter was "reset" is there a way a dealer can plug in and tell how many hours are on the boat? Thanks

Get the engine specs (ID number) on the boat and contact N3 Boatworks or PCM to verify. Most newer boats have an ECM that will read the hours with the diagnostics tools they have.

Since it is a '06 and has a GM powerplant the simple answer is YES. Any PCM authorized dealer should have the tool to read the ECM.

Thanks but it looks like someone else bought it, seller is waiting on deposit. 8 hours away and unsure of the hours, I didn't jump on it.
