    gt40p upgrade, riser upgrade?

I've upgraded my 351W with gt40p heads, cam research cam, and an edelbrock performer intake. I am very happy with the performance. The part I was curious about was the fact that the stock boss GT40 motors had 3.5" outlet risers. Mine still has the stock 3" outlet risers. Does anyone know if an exhaust upgrade has a noticeable affect on performance?

Here's what TRBenj did...how much cash do you have? I understand the Hitech's are a little pricey.

Yup, Hi-Teks are pretty much the only readily available aftermarket upgrade and they are not cheap. The stock setup is pretty free flowing and with the mods you are doing I don't think you will run into issues. The cost to likely minimal to zero benefit is probably not worth it.

I know going to Hi-Teks would be the best, but is there any benefit in going to stock GT40 risers? I would have to change the exhaust hoses and mufflers to accommodate the 3.5" oulets on the GT40 risers.
