edlebrock carb and surfing....

I just put a new edelbrock carb on my '84 sn. When we loaded one side to do a little surfing it didnt want to run, sounded like it wasent getting enough gas, is this due to the bowls being on the sides of the carb, and tilting when we load down one side of the boat? I hope not because I really enjoy surfing!, or was it just do to the fact that we didnt have a full tank of gas? anyone else on here have this problem??thanks for the help

You are probably starving one side of the engine.Don't know how to fix except don't weight one side of the boat, weight both sides equally.If you raise the float level it will probably mess up when you are balanced.
