    prop recommendation

I have a 96 Ski Nautique with a GT-40, 310 HP. Would like to know what's a good 4 blade prop to put on it and what would be the props advantages over the stock one on it?

Check with Karl DeLoff at www.boarditup.com, he has the best prices on Acme, the smoothest running props.

      RE: prop recommendation

The next generation of SN's (tsc's) went to OJ 14 x 16 4 blades. That is what is on my 99, and I really dont see how there could be much more improvement. I have also heard nothing but good things about the acme's. So in the nutshell any of the new props will be a gain over the standard 3 blade that came with your boat. BTW your three blade will make a great back up prop, incase the unspeakable happens one day at the lake.

        RE: prop recommendation

wakeside.com has it all figured out for ya. most direct drives are 3 blade and v-drives are 4 blade. if still unsure goto acme website and call them, very helpful people

          Thanks fellows,
I took a couple of bits out of my prop at the lake saturday. When I posted the thread I did not know, but I have since pulled the prop and it is a OJ Legend 14X16. I took it to a prop shop to see about repairing it and am still thinking about buying another to put on or for backup.

The right OJ four blade should be the 13 x16 rh.
