Swapping extended pylon for regular size pylon 94 sport

I've got a 94 sport with the factory extended pylon and I'm wondering if anyone is interested in trading for a regular size pylon. Mine is similar to this one except it's got a slight bend near the lower 3rd of it.

We never use the top portion of the pylon and I'd rather not modify a new cover, plus I've been told some people prefer these pylons. I'm located in Connecticut and if anyone is interested please PM me.

My boat came with the standard length center mounted pylon but it was removed from the boat by the previous owner. Let me think about it but I might swap with you if you don't find any takers and our pylons are compatible. I will have to dig mine out and check but I am pretty sure is straight and does not have a bend so they might not be able to be swapped. I am guessing direct drive boats might take the bent pylon and v-drives got the straight ones. For resale value and having the option to hook up a standard boom I want to make sure I end up with a pylon that will still work with my boat. Where in CT are you?

Anybody know if you have to pull up the floor panel to install/uninstall a center mounted pylon in a Super Sport? Or can it be done by going through the ski locker and then the access hole to the gas tank area?
