I just installed two new Airguide Speedos on my '93 SNOB and they work very well once the boat is under way, about 10-15 mph. What's my next step? I've replaced the airlines, but did not bypass the "shock tubes" behind the gas tank. What are those things? Should I have bypassed them? White Like thought I should not bypass them unless they were bad. Also, did not replace the pitot tubes. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Which pitots do you have? The skidim tournament ones are a nice upgrade from the teleflex. http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=769B.

Where you able to use the two existing holes and then just add a 3rd hole? Or did you have to patch any holes from the original pitots?
To the OP, I assume your speedos are reading accurate speeds once they start working? If not maybe it is as simple as adjusting the calibration so that it picks up the first 10-15 mph. Also check that there is nothing clogged in the pitots.Shawn
