Key Pad Issues? Maybe...?

I have an '01 Ski Nautique (196). Today it ran strong for several passes, then weirdly wouldn't start after being shutdown. The dash won't light up, no accessories function, keypad won't light up when buttons are pressed...nothing. All the circuit breakers below the dash are in, I replaced the 20 Amp fuse off the positive terminal of the battery, and confirmed the battery is almost at its rated strength.

I'm not sure where to really go at this point. I'm going to mess with it tomorrow...but where to begin? Any ideas?

1.Lanyard partially disconnected
2.Toggle switch near right knee disconnected

Check your toggle switch. I just replaced mine this weekend, as it was the cause of my dead key pad just like you described above.

I keep reading about this fandangled toggle switch, but can't locate one on my boat (2000PAN)!! As with most things with these boats, the problem is usually a simple solution, good news for Onside.

I have a 2000 Ski Nautique and couldn't find the toggle switch. I checked my manual as well and there is no toggle switch on the 2000 boats as far as I can determine.

However I have been having the same start issues that others have described.

They were used from 2001 on.
