K so my understanding from talking with a dealer tech is that the 2015 and later have motorized valves that open and shut when filling and emptying. Quite the upgrade cost lol.

Same with mine, port only when left in water any amount of time. But the funny part to mine is that when I shut the valves, turn off the boat and everything, then restart my boat it'll show 300 lbs still EVEN after I drained everything and it shows0 before I turned off the boat....

My new to me 2014 G21 fills the belly ballast tank overnight, my dealervtold me the 14's use a float system and they sometimes stay open. The fix is to close the valves... I find that unacceptable for 100K boat. Does anyone know of fix from nautique?

Even Wakemakers says the green impeller will stop the passive filling. https://www.wakemakers.com/jabsco-ba...-impeller.html I know it has solved the problem for some owners.

I wonder if you could hit the fill button for about 10 seconds when you finish draining. You could even do this on the ramp to suck air back into your bags. If you suck the bags super dry and create a negative pressure, it may be enough to suck through the impeller and start the siphon going. If you leave the boat in the water, it wouldn't be a problem to push 25 pounds of water back into the bags.

i have some new green impellers and... in my case, i does not stop filling the tank. Its better then the last ones, but last time i had 25% filled starboard, and port side. But thats not a big deal for me.

Reading this thread, it looks like the “solution” is to manually close the valves if the boat stays in the water any amount of time? The port side on my new to me 2016 fills if left in the water overnight.
