Push-button ballast switch 2004 Air Nautique 226 LE

Any idea on how these ballast switches function? I'm installing an aftermarket ballast system and would like to use these switches to control the pumps, but I'm unclear how one button can operate both the fill pump and drain pump. Does it cycle through the various operations (off --- fill on --- off --- drain on --- off --- and so on)?

Has anyone else utilized these switches for after market ballast? Any tips? I've read that it can be a hassle to find the terminated leads in the wire bundles, so I've prepared myself for that.

I'm using Tsunami 1200GPH pumps which draw 3.6 amps each (3 fill and 3 drain). At most it'll be pulling about 11 amps. I'd expect that to be within spec of what the electrical system was designed for, but not sure.

On my 2006 220 - short press is fill, long press is empty. On fill the led light is constant on. On empty the led light blinks as it empties. Hope this helps!

The pumps you are using will work direct off of the pad, no need for relays or other power sources. And what John_Keck said, is spot on.

As for finding the leads, in my 210 LE the belly leads were on the Starboard side of the gas tank and the rears were already in use. You should be able to find the schematics for the wiring on this site under the wiring diagrams tab in the top navigation. Just check that cause in my 2003 LE they leads were colored uniquely which made locating easier.

      Good luck!
