2000 Ramlin Trailer Tire Size?????? HELP

I have a 2000 Ramlin Trailer with P225/75-15 tires. My fenders seem very close to the tires. In fact the right fender has been damaged by the previous owner, and today apparently I hit a bump a put the tire into the damaged fender. Now I need a new tire.

I seriously question if these tires are correct for this trailer.

Please tell me what is the correct size for this trailer.

Check to see if the tire size is stamped on the manufacturers capacity plate near the tongue. If you call Ramlin and give them the VIN they should be able to tell you. Usually trailers don't get fitted with P (passenger vehicle rated) tires. . .are you the original owner? (were the current size on there originally?) Mine is a 2010 Ramlin, so that size might not be relevant, but I thought they were 14s, if the same is true for you, that could explain the clearance issue you are having.

My mistake.....it is not a Pxxxxx.
      It is ST25/75R15
AND that is almost exactly what is on the trailer manufacturers plate (ST25/5R15 D).

That seems very big for the fender. even on the undamaged fender.

I have a 2000 ramlin trailer for my sport/air with 225/75/15 tires. It does look like there is not much room for travel, but as far as I know, there has never been any contact. I assume you have a single axle as well? I do wonder as torsion axles get old how it effects their strength/ride height.
