electrical connection on motor and cant figure out where it goes. 2006 sv211

This weekend the motor tossed the serpentine belt off and as we were putting a new one on I noticed a connection on the right side of the motor sitting right on top of the injectors. It wasn't plugged in to anything and I can't find anywhere it would go. The wiring is about a foot long so it has a pretty wide direction of where it could go. It has an orange bottom on it and has the number 28 stamped into it really small. I've tried looking up a wiring diagram and cant find anything that would help. If anyone has any idea i'd appreciate it. The boat runs great so i'm kind of at a loss. Thanks

I can't help you, but my 02 has empty plugs hanging all over, it seems. I think some of it ahs to due with using one wiring harness for everything, regardless of options, engine, etc.
