99 SAN ballast install

So I'm installing 750s in the back, 650 ski locker, 200lbs sand under the bow seats and I have 2 400s for the boat seats to tune the wake. We wakeboard and surf probably 50/50.

I'm using areator pumps. Not exactly sure which fill pumps I'm going to use(800or1200) but I already have Tsunami 750s for the drain.

First dilemma, My scoop and 1 1/4" ball valve is too close to my motor mount.
What should I do. Here are a couple pics so u guys can see what I'm talking about.I can move the wires and hoses out of the way. The previous owner had pvc pipe attached to the ball valve but I can't get it back in after i installed the motor

Are you just using 1 intake? Maybe try a 90 either before of after your ball valve. Is that the stock ballast location? I think I have a 3/4" ball valve to 1" barb on my stock intake and it was tight getting a hose on it. Why not put a couple more holes in your boat and do individual intakes?

Yeah I thought about installing more intakes behind the engine mounts. I guess that's tge stock location. He had a pvc 90 to the pumps but I can't get the pumps in there. I might use this intake good one pump then install 2 more in the rear.

Put a 90 before the ball valve. The factory SANTE of the error does it that way.

You have to keep the "fill" pumps below the waterline. Also it is important to have the outlet from the pump to face up or as close to vertical as possible.

That elbow is called a street. Male on one end, female on the other. Easier to find with the correct name.

I'll try that, My intake is by the transmission so it might be a little harder. Would it matter if I extended the intake after the 90 to behind the motor mount where it will be easier to install the pumps. Only adverse effect I see is losing a little flow due to having a longer intake.

Do you guys buy the pre wired switch harnesses or make your own. If you make your own, Do u have a diagram of the wire locations on the back of the switch.

Wakemakers sells the rocker switches. They come with directions. Pretty simple. Have you read my ballast install? Sounds like your doing much of the same.

Is it necessary to run the vent lines to the opposite sides of the boat to prevent siphoning?
I have the original hippo electrical system that I'm going to try and use for the pumps. It was working when I removed it but there are alot of wires that need to be cleaned up

Ok a little update. I have a 1 1/2" thru hull going to a intake I constructed. Using 1200 pumps to film and drain the 750s since we will be switching from wakeboarding to surfing throughout the day then using the 750s to fill and drain the ski locker. I also have a rule 1100 for the 2 400lb seat sacs. Trying to finish before Saturday. I have been taking pictures and will post them shortly.
