LINC and depth guage

Does anyone know why the linc system only reads to 100ft? Our lake has some areas that are 180 ft and wife like to know just "how" deep the water is.

I'd like to know as well. Most lakes here are between 150-250. Figured they'd have at least gone to 300 ft max on the Linc.

is there an update for the Linc for it to read greater depths?

Isn't there a setting that can change the max depth it reads on the settings screen?

They probably figured after 100 feet is it really that important?
