G23 V-drive issues need some help

I started having a slight vibration when putting the boat into gear but would go away as the rpm's got higher. Then it started making a ticking noise from the area of the v-drive coupler. Looked on the bottom the shaft appears straight and no other damage to the bottom. I haven't hit anything in the water. The prop one time was throwing up mud and sand as i got in shallow water before i realized it but never heard anything hit. Any ideas what may be going on with it? I first thought a bent shaft but like i said i can't see any damage or anything. Its been at the dealership for 2 weeks and with no sort of answers or anything. Of course its not the dealer where i bought it from as I'm 10 hours from home so they have fixed every boat in Arkansas and not touched mine. Any help would be appreciated.

case of beer says you have a slight bend in your prop. It may have been when you kicked up mud, or it could have been from hitting a branch or log in the water. these props are soft. all of them are by design.

Have the dealer throw another prop on there and take it for a test run. that will verify, takes 5 mins to swap a prop. If yours is bent, either buy another, or send your prop to Nettles and have them rebalance it for $150. or do both and have a spare.

Agree with the damaged prop. You would be surprised how slight a ding can add that little vibration to your steering wheel when powering up, It goes away almost instantly with a few rpms. You will feel it even more when loaded.

A bent prop would cause the ticking noise around the v-drive coupler too?

            ^^^ could be a symptom.

Grab the low hanging fruit, swap the prop and verify that. move on from there, that could be done before the end of today.
