    Slip lift potentially causing damage

This is my first post so hope I am not asking an ignorant question, but we just purchased a 230, and have the boat in a slip with a lift. We put the boat in the water for the first time last night. Here is my question. The two rails of the lift stop short of the transom. There is about a 3 foot distance between the end of the lift rails and the transom. My question, knowing the bulk of the weight is in the rear, should I be concerned that the rails aren't extending closer to the rear transom?

I replied under another post to this, yes I would be concerned. Contact Correct Craft on this or just be safe and fix the bunks.
