    HI guys,

I had a (I thought) similar problem with my boat. Died on me last Saturday about 2 miles away from the cottage, with the whole family on board. Had to get towed back home. Thought for sure the engine was not getting any gas, since it was turning over real good but not starting. Mechanic came over yesterday, figured out the ground to the relay was faulty. Replaced the relays, seemed to work, started right up like a champ!! Then... died on me while doing a water test yesterday. Lucky for me, my mechanic was nearby and came out on the water to help me out. Played around with the connectors on the transmission switch and this allowed boat to start right back up. Drove around for a while with him sticking around, no issues. Went back to the dock, let it run at idle for a while, died again. Checked and jumped the contacts on the tranny switch, started right back up perfect. Cleaned out the contacts which were pretty cruddy, boat started right back up. We'll see how it goes when I head back there tomorrow!!

When I thought I was headed for another lost week-end as my boat would die after running for 8 minutes (timed it), brought it to my mechanic and tuned our to be excess water in the FCC bogging down the HP pump. He cleaned it out, got it running and we had an amazing w/e!!
