2011 SAN 210 Wake Surf Wake Set Up

I am looking for some help in setting up my 210 for surfing I currently have the stock hard tanks plus the High Fly 750lb in each rear lockers, then the high fly bow sack that is inside the front storage and wraps around to under the seats which is 650lbs. I can get a decent height but the pocket is extremely short.. I normally fill the center hard tank full and the rear port hard full plus the 750lb full, should I be filling the bow sack full as well? We usually surf around 9.8 to 10mph (which I am thinking might be to slow. If anyone has some insight or advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2001 SAN with a heavy Python power plant. That helps. What we have found is that the best combination for surfing is to weight the rear surf-side to the max.....leave the other rear empty to gain the most "height". Then, to lengthen out the wave a maxed out centre AND a maxed out bow is the better combination.

Thank you for the info, from what I am reading on the net is exactly that along with a little more speed.

What we do is the following and it is awesome, lot's of push and rampy. nice cause no sacs out on floor or seats..

        Gas tank about 3/4 full
1100 sac about 2/3 full on port side rear locker
650 pretty full under love seat
        center tank full
        speed 9.5
lever set to ramp not vert

you can adjust amount of water in port side to either add to get more push or subtract to get length

Scott I think we have the same hull, plus you use 750s plumbed in. Me too. Your set up is correct, fill that stuff in the bow. Fill your belly tank. Put your speed to 10,5. You mentioned starboard, so that might require a bit more weight aft, so tell your pals to move behind the driver, or maybe some pop bags. . .let us know how that works. I have 750s in the rear on top of stock, and the arrow sac under the deck filled from the belly. Beautiful wave, plenty of push! OK,, you caught me, i also have 200 lbs. of pop products on the surf side evenly distributed for and aft, plus a small crew. Kokanee?

HS thanks for the reply I even went out today and purchased 2 350lb portable sacks and a pump to help out as it is usually myself , my wife and 2 little kids in the boat. Next weekend I will play around with the set up and let you know how I make out.

So, if she doesn't like to drive back across the rollers you'll be making to pick you back up, if you fall, have her pull back the throttle to neutral, let the rollers pass on by, then turn around. Far less thrilling but keeps things a bit more dry inside.
