Can anyone take a picture of the timing marks on their GT-40. I'm trying to locate them on the on the crank pulley and can not find them. There is rust on the outside of the pulley and I am wondering if the marks were in this area.

Pretty sure that's where they are. Take a small wire brush and knock off the rust and I'll bet you'll see them. Abscond with some of your wife's nail polish to paint in the marks.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)

Got it cleanup up with a small stainless steel brush from ACE. Also needed reading glasses to see something that close and small. Good thing all this is cheap. I think I see ATC 10 then TC then 10 20. 30 BTC. Sounds right can anyone confirm my old eyes and cleanup part?

All good thanks SilentSeven. Got it timed for the base timing without the spout connector in and all seems good. Starts right up and holds a steady rpm with no load. It did do some pulsing on first start after spout connector reinstalled. Pushed the ignition switch and let power drain for a minute. After the second start all was normal with no surging. Maybe had to clear an error code that the spout connector was not connected? Hope this fixes the final random hard start issue. I think I've replaced everything now that the manual shows under hot hard start issues.
