Ballast set up for your SANs

I'm sure you guys have heard this a million times, but I have an 05 SANTE I'd like to upgrade the ballast in (it's all original). I would like to surf more and of course have a bigger wake for wakeboarding.
    I need some ideas.
Interested to know what kind of set ups people have. What have you done to your boat? Piggy back systems or pulling the hard tanks out completely?
    Let's hear/see your set ups.

I've never heard of anybody upgrading ballast before. Atleast not on this site. I'll be subscribing to this one

      Tons of ballast upgrades.

Most common in your hull is probably to pull hard tanks and replace them with 750# sacs per side. 600# sac in the ski locker (I have a 375 and think it's great with room left for stuff. Then some type of sack in the nose. Either ballast puppy pumps or aerators. I went ballast puppy for simplicity.

I'm currently looking into this with my 2003 SANTE by removing my rear hard tanks/wedge sacs and replacing with 750's with factory aerator pumps to fill/drain. The only thing I can't decide is the bow weight... I currently use the factory belly tank along with a v-drive sac in the bow. I'm thinking I will need to add weight. I don't want to remove the bow cooler, so I'm thinking of going with the 1,000 lb triangle sac on top of the seats in the bow. Just not sure it's needed.

I would use a stand-alone pump for that sac if I go that route. WakeMakers has a deal for 2 - 750 sacs and 1000 triangle sac with Elevate 1200 GPH pump for $579. I could then get their "wake buster" parts kit for the rear sacs. I plan to call them tonight and see if this is the best option or not.

I have an 04. 750's in the rear, factory belly, and I cut out the cooler in the bow and put in the arrow sac under the seats. Everything is filled and drained with the factory aerator pumps. I love the wake with this set up. You will need to reprop for sure.

jward, this is the set up I'm leaning toward.
do you piggy back the bow sac off the tank in the ski locker?
How long does it all take to fill?

Yes I do. It really doesn't take long. If you drive at riding speed for a bit it will push the water in pretty quick. Once the rider is ready and up and riding I keep it filling until the cushion raises up a little and then turn it off. Never timed anything but not a big deal. Emptying is pretty fast as well.
