Today we were out on the lake and after turning the boat off to load up a finished wakeboard earthen engine would not start. Throttle in neutral, battery power, full tank of fuel. After fiddling with the throttle a bit and turning the key off and on I was able to get it started and head back to the dock and get it loaded up and home.
Where do i start trouble shooting. It seemed to me the starter might be. Going because I couldn't even get the thing to turn over.
Just sty bought the boat, it's been a rock solid first key turn starter.
i always turn the engine off when we are swimming, or loading unloading skiers, tubs and boarders. Maybe I have worn it out?
