8.1 problems

I have an 02 SANTE with the 8.1 n it. It runs great most of the time. But sometimes when I throw a lot of extra weight n it and when I go to get on plane, it like Bogs down somehow and loses power. I'll have to let off the throttle some then get back into it until it starts running and sounding normal again and then ends up planing out. I talked to my local dealer and they told me those big motors r sometimes notorious for running through plugs and wires.. So ima change em out and c how it goes. Jus wanted to c if anyone else out there knows anythin else about the 8.1 or has had similar problems.. Thanks
