    04 team?

Pretty much decided to buy this boat here in Austrlia...however some things if want to clarify...
If it is an 04 TEAM will there be anything on the build plate?
What model tower is it? It is different at the bottom to the fct3 as it doesn't curve as much. The horizontal support beams on each side are also rounded and not square like an fct2...? What is it?

Further, the rear swim platform is wood, not composite - was it simply an optional extra as I know the 03 and 05 have composite...

Everything else is good - not a huge fan of the colour but 210s never come up in australia!

Are you positive about the year? The tower looks to be from another year. the 04s were the only year to have the rounded base in 05 Nautique switched back the the previous tower. It could have been swapped or maybe this didn't happen in Australia.

You could check the options vs the brochure to see if it has all the Team options. http://www.correctcraftfan.com/refer...ex.asp?page=39

On the Team Editions the platforms were standard composite but many have been swapped out. Teak was standard on the LE.

There are some pics of my recently sold 04 if you want to compare. http://www.planetnautique.com/vb3/sh...2004-sante-210

That does not appear to be a factory nautique tower. Definitely not an '04 tower. Probably replaced the curved '04 tower with an aftermarket tower. The geometry is different than the FCT2 towers, but similar.

I feel vindicated - I spent hours searching before posing that question...

Part of me thinks it's an LE optioned up to a point and being sold off as a TEAM. It's got plumbed ballast, perfect pass, helm control etc but the stereo is clarion (04 had the kicker in the TE)

From what I can tell it's basically cosmetic differences between the LE and TE right?

That tower doesn't even look like it folds. It look like a DIY tower that someone tried to make look like the nautique tower. But they still bought the stock board racks and screwed them into some clamps.

That has the 04 stripe pattern and wood platforms were still an option in 04. Not sure about the tower situation.

I'm 90% sure it's an LE, with many of the options of the TE and almost positive the tower isn't factory. I called a dealer here and it's hard to get replacement towers which makes it likely to be custom. The seller is the second owner (the first imported it new), and it's only got 166 hours on the clock. I was sceptical on the hours at first but checked and it's spot on.

As I said, there's no kicker sound system, no jump seat and no bow filler - all standard for a team.

Thanks for you support - thought I was going mad!

All questions could be solved by looking at the HID number. Don't go by anything but that.

That tower while mimicking the factory FCT2 is not it. Looks like someone custom built it. It does look to break apart to fold, but not a factory tower of any year.

Where is the HID found and how will I decipher what it's saying?

On the transom, bottom right (driver's side) just below the swim platform. Get that number and call local dealer or Nautique. The first characters should be CC04 if it is a 2004 model. "CC" stands for Correct Craft, the next two numbers will be year model... "04" is 2004, "13" is 2013.

it is a Limited Edition. The limited has toggle switches an the team has push buttons. slightly different dash to the one you are looking at. They have made a mistake saying its a Team.

Not true. My 2003 Limited has the same team edition push button ignition and controls. Best way to find out if it is a Limited versus Team is see if there is a belly tank. Team editions had a belly limited only had the rear hard tanks.

I think the toggle switches are only on the Signature editions. I think the difference between the team and the limited is that the wedge tanks, perfect pass, upgraded stereo, dual batteries, and composite platform are standard.

                            Ha!
Pretty confusing all round...there is a belly tank and a teak swim deck. If you look at the 04 options in the sales manual an LE can be optioned up to a TEAM almost. As if said earlier I'm pretty sure this is what has happened!

                              OzEmu,
If you contact Correct Craft with the hull number, they may be able to send you a copy of the build sheet.
