Faria wasn't very helpful at all. Buxton wants me to bring the boat by so they can check and see if it is a guage or the box, they actually have several boxes on their self and that Nautique is coming with a conversion kit to pretty much rip the box and all that out but he was not sure of cost or when that would be happening.

Turns out my box is fine. Every gauge on my dash went bad swapped gauges and now had a nice new dash for just a little bit cheaper then a box.

weird that all of your gauges were bad, but glad you got it fixed.

Is there another problem that fried all the gauges? Bad ground? Power spike from a bad relay? It would worry me just to throw all new gauges in there and hope the original problem is still not present.

              Update:
Correct Craft and Faria have officially released information to the dealers on the gateway issue.
The gateways are no longer available. Nor is Faria able to repair them.

              The solution:
Correct Craft/Faria have developed a harness to bypass the gateway entirely. The harness will feed analog data from the engine ECM directly to all new analog gauges on the dash.

                thanks for the follow up.

i hate that the original gauges would have to be replaced but good to know there is a solution. will be interesting to see how much they want for the new gauges and harness ... might be worse than the $900 was for a new gateway, lol

The cost of the harness and the gauges is $960, one of the technicians I spoke with expects the repair to take 4-5 hours. Total repair cost is $960 plus whatever 4-5 hours of labor is.

Does anyone know any specifics about the gauges? A set of gauges for a signature edition costs under 600 and would work without the gateway. Does this fix preserve some of the features of the digital gauges (depth, air temp, gas hours remaining, etc)?

Couldn't you preserve the original gauges by upgrading the ecm to the 07 version so that you could use the newer gateway? Or does that require pretty much everything the zero off upgrade requires?
