Prop suggestions for 2007 SANTE 220

Just bought this 2007 SANTE 220 and thinking it might be propped incorrectly. Has a slightly damaged ACME 645 on her. Boat pretty good out of hole but thinking it a better in it if propped right. Top end is certainly low but not really my main concern.

Running 5.7L PCM and stock Team Edition ballasts

Boat is primarily pulling 70-130lb wakeboarders with minimal passenger weight, not counting my fat self.

no altitude issue as the boat is in Michigan.

Any input from similarly et up boats would be greatly appreciated!

J Mitch, how much clearance between the tip of the prop and the hull do you have when you rotate the prop around now?

    645

    13.25

    16.000

    0.105 cup

Just for reference, with a 13x16, you are certainly into a ski type prop. If you arent thrilled with your top speed now, its not gonna get better dropping pitch for more tq and hole shot when you are doing wakesports....or increasing diameter.

Whats your top speed now? Is a 36-38mph top speed ok for significantly improved hole shot?

If you want more of a low end tq type prop, generally you increase diamter and drop pitch. probrablly in the 14x13 range, but you gotta maintain at least 1" of clearance between the tip of the prop and the hull.

      1 5/8 inch clearance with the 13.25
Top end now is about 35mph

Seems like a perfect candidate for a 1235.

        350 engine right? 1:48 tranny?

So a 14.5" dia should still leave you 1" of clearance . Maxing out the diameter will reduce prop slip.... Better bite on the water, especially when you are sac'd out.

pitch is up to you. 14 pitch will get you 40mph+.. 12 pitch will get you massive improvements in hole shot, but a 36-39mph top speed. Once you get close in deciding... Cup can dial you in 1-2mph on what you are looking for.

if you can further describe what you want to see, we can refine the recommendation. But at a minimum, a 14 - 14.5" dia is where you need to be IMO.
