2008 sante air temperature

Has anyone figured out how the faria gateway box get's the air temperature? I am guessing it is under the dash somewhere. I read the faria helmsman manual and it does NOT look like it is a sensor to the gateway box. So I am guessing it is back of one of the gauges somehow.

Does anyone know for sure or looked into?

I would assume it uses the air intake temperature of the engine.
