Replacing digital gauges but no connector on PP

Purchased the kit through Nautiqueparts.com and followed the instructions on the associated PDF. However my factory installed PP Pro does not have a plug under the dash. It runs back behind the kick plate where the heater is.

i have a 2001 SN with a GT40 5.8 if that helps. The jumper in the kit was designed to plug in between the paddle and the PP.

    suggestions?

p.s. I read through many threads before posting as there is a lot of great info out there but I did not see my scenario.

What part number did you get from nautique parts? Perfect pass pro works with pitots, digital pro works with paddle.wheel, stargazer is GPS.

Also take picture of you perfect pass module. take everything out from under the passenger seat. Crawl up in there and you will find the module behind the kick plate if that is where the wires are going.

Here is the part number I purchased A-32-1007A

i have a 2001 model built in September of 2000. There is a wall between the storage area under the passenger seat as well as the kick panel at the feet of the drivers seat. The gray paddle wheel wire set goes behind the kick panel. I will get under there tonight on the passenger side and see what I can see.

are you saying the plug I am looking for is back there?

Yes, hopefully you have the digital pro module and not just pro as stated in your first post.

I replaced the gauges on my 2002 (with Digital Pro) earlier this summer. I wish I could remember for sure, but there was something in the instructions that wasn't very clear, but I can't remember exactly how it went. I will take a picture of the connections on mine if I go to the lake this weekend.

Mine is directly under on the kicker wall, friends upgraded stargazer in 2001 is on the wall under the passenger seat, yours in the back. The wires aren't very long so the module can't be too far away. Glad you found it!

So I finally got out on the water and the tach works great and the perfect pass as well. No speedo movement though... Suggestions?

Double check to make sure you have everything hooked up correctly, including the PP connection. At the same time make sure all connections are snug. I had issues with one of the connectors on my tach and had to install a new connector.

Double checking did it... I had the ground wire and the signal wire connected to the signal. The funny thing is that the Perfect pass would work but not give me a digital speed reading. it must have been estimating speed off the RPMs. Now that I have the wiring correct the analog and the perfect pass are giving me mph.

Now I just have to take the gps out a tune the guages. It was a relief to see them working for sure.

                        God Bless

Great! Glad it's working for you. After the fact, I kind of wish I would have just put the money into upgrading my PP to Stargazer.
