Problems with LINC system, Nautique sport 200V 2012 model.

I have a Sport Nautique 200 V drive with a LINC 2.0 control system. Based in Sydney, Australia. The boat has done 150 hours. Has worked perfectly until our last outing. We dropped the boat off the ramp and started it. The screen indicated the LINC system was booting up, but the screen then went blank, and nothing we tried resolved the problem. The boat ran as normal, but of course we have no gauges or control over ballast, and no speed control. Our mechanic suggested a replacement screen at $A 3,000, which we are not to happy about. Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so, are there any other solutions?

A 2012 should be under warranty. Even if you bought it used, at least the part would be covered (assuming you paid the warranty transfer fee).

Jeff- what does it cost to transfer warranty?

We imported boat from US. We only became aware of warranty transfer requirement about 4 months post the date of sale (due to the time the boat was in transit) and hence were ineligible to transfer the warranty due to the 15 day limit.
