GM knock sensor for Excal 330?

I think my knock sensor needs to be replaced. Can a generic GM 5.7 knock sensor be used for my Excal 330 in my '05 SANTE?

I can get a generic GM 5.7 knock sensor for $25 versus the PCM knock sensor for $100. They look exactly the same.

I am not an expert, but I have bought quite a bit of '98 chevy truck with vortec 350 parts for mine. plug wires are too short. everything else has worked.
