Priority Start On Battery Anyone Else Used It?

I have recently installed a priority start on my battery to hopefully eliminate ever getting stuck in the middle of the lake with a dead battery. The question I have is (since the directions are not very clear) is When the priority start disconnects as it should when it reads that the battery is below 11.9 volts. It says to wait a minute then turn on the running light on a boat and turn the iginition to start. I have a 99 Pro Air, are the running lights considered the navigation lights, anchor lights, or the courteousy lights?
One other question. Has anyone else used/installed this on their boats? like it / hate it?

Running lights should equal nav lights.

Yeah, I installed one on my '95 SN. I have yet to run my battery low enough to know how well it works, but for 70 bones it's cheap piece of mind.

Worked on a couple of boats with the system and it was intalled by the owner of the boat and it cause a couple of wierd problems like shutting the boat off mid crank and would not allow the blower to work for a time before shutting system down. On one of boats I fixed the draw problem in the altenator and a radio that would not shut offon the other.
