    91 Excel distributorless ignition

We are waiting on the Mallory distributor kit to get rid of the Protec EEM and we have a temp sensor ordered. Is there any other sensor that would shut the ignition down after using the boat. It will start one minute and run great and then won't restart. Does anyone have the test values we should be getting off the sensors.

If you are going to the mallory system they do not use any sensor to shut the system down except what is in the distributor.

Yes I guess we figured that out and none of it matters because we got the kit in and it runs. Just need to replace the temp sensor and we should be good to go. We are getting erratic readings on the gauge and it is reading 180 degrees. We have already done impeller and thermostat last year.
      Thanks!

Check your connections on the back of the temp gauge make sure they are not loose but you may have a ground problem for the gauges. The bad ground fix is on this web site, basically all you have to do is add a ground wire at the end of the daisy chain of ground wires.
